Double Mountain Turn The Haze Hazy IPA Gets a 16-oz Can Label

Double Mountain Turn The Haze Hazy IPA Gets a 16-oz Can Label

Double Mountain Turn The Haze is headed for 16-ounce cans. Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery of Hood River, Oregon, has a federally approved label for the 6.3% hazy IPA in a one-pint can, according to MyBeerBuzz and the label tracker Hop Grail.

Hop Grail lists the label as submitted to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) on Oct. 22 and approved Oct. 23, 2026. Double Mountain Turn The Haze hasn’t been spotted on shelves in the new can yet, and neither source gives a release date.

What the brewery says it tastes like

Double Mountain’s Turn The Haze page describes mango, Cara Cara orange, “tropic resin,” kiwi and guava, with a “Juicy” yeast strain and a finish at 2.5°P. The can itself promises “dense tropical aromas and a soft mouthfeel” and asks, in big letters, “What could possibly go wrong?”

MyBeerBuzz says the core specs stay the same in the new can. The brewery page only calls this “this version” of its hazy trail, so we can’t confirm the recipe is unchanged.

When will the 16-oz cans show up?

Nobody has said. An approved label means the brewery is cleared to package it, not that it’s on sale. By Hop Grail’s count, half of the labels it tracks appear on shelves within 18 days of approval, and four in five within 44 days.
