Finest City Beverages Expands: Seabørn at The Brewer’s Deck, Coffee at Eppig

Finest City Beverages is opening new places to drink in San Diego. Seabørn agave cocktails will take over a stall at The Brewer’s Deck in Carmel Valley starting next month. Eppig Brewing‘s Waterfront Biergarten in Point Loma will add a flatbread kitchen and a walk-up coffee bar, according to San Diego Beer News.

Who is Finest City Beverages?

In January, Latitude Brewing, parent of Vista-born Latitude 33 Brewing, bought the House of Mason Beverage Collective portfolio from West Coast Ventures LLC, SDBN reports. The deal included Mason Ale Works, Eppig Brewing, Second Chance Beer Co. and Shoots Beer, plus Castellum Ciders, Old Harbor Distilling and Swell Soda.

Latitude owners Mike Ingram and CJ Sanchez brought in Mason Ale Works founder Grant Tondro as executive vice president of hospitality for the newly formed Finest City Beverages LLC.

Seabørn at The Brewer’s Deck

The Brewer’s Deck is a three-stall rooftop bar inside Sky Deck at Del Mar Highlands Town Center, 12841 El Camino Real, Suite 302. Latitude 33 runs one stall, pouring its beers and those of sister brand Thorn Brewing. Starting next month, Seabørn will serve from the stall that Boochcraft held from 2021 until earlier this year.

According to SDBN, Seabørn’s canned margaritas account for 20% of the company’s distribution revenue for 2026. “Bringing on Seabørn has been a real boon for us,” Tondro told SDBN.

Flatbreads and coffee at the Eppig Waterfront Biergarten

The Point Loma biergarten will soon add a small kitchen selling flatbreads and Charlie Royal, a walk-up coffee spot. Tondro and Nick Martin, rhythm guitarist for the band Sleeping with Sirens, own Charlie Royal. They launched it in 2021.

What comes next

Tondro expects to open “a handful of spots within the next year or so,” as SDBN puts it. Latitude Brewing and its new company are based at Belching Beaver Brewery’s headquarters in Oceanside, where the portfolio’s brands are produced.

“The days of being able to live off the revenue from one’s latest hazy IPA drop are long gone,” Tondro said.

What’s still unclear

  • No exact opening dates for Seabørn’s stall, the flatbread kitchen or Charlie Royal. SDBN says only “next month” and “soon.”
  • SDBN says the Eppig location “will be the company’s first brick-and-mortar.” It is not clear whether “the company” means Charlie Royal or Finest City Beverages.
  • This is a single source, and we did not find a Finest City Beverages announcement. Its website, finestcitybev.com, showed only a “Launching Soon” page.
