Founders Blushing Monk is returning in new 12-ounce cans, according to label art published by MyBeerBuzz. The beer from Founders Brewing Co. is a Belgian-style ale brewed with raspberry, listed at 9.2% ABV and 20 IBUs. MyBeerBuzz says it is “returning soon,” but no date or markets have been announced.
What the Founders Blushing Monk label says
- Belgian-style ale with raspberry
- 9.2% alc./vol., 20 IBUs
- 12 fl. oz. (355 ml) can
- “Malt beverage with natural flavors”
- Brewed and packaged by Founders Brewing Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan
The label also carries the line “Drink responsibly. They don’t deserve the clink.” It gives no tasting notes, and the Bureau is not adding any.
What is still uncertain
- Release date, price and distribution. None has been announced.
- Location. The label says Grand Rapids, Michigan, but the MyBeerBuzz article calls Founders a Comstock, Michigan brewery. We report both.
- This post is based on label art and a single report, not a Founders announcement.
Founders has seen some changes at the top. The Bureau covered its new CEO announcement. Until the brewery confirms timing, treat Founders Blushing Monk in cans as coming, not here.
Transmission complete.
