Bottle Logic Joins The Bruery and Offshoot to Form The Bruery Group

Three Orange County beer entities that grew up 1.6 miles apart are moving in together. Bottle Logic Brewing of Anaheim is joining The Bruery and Offshoot Beer Co. in a new company called The Bruery Group, both breweries announced Monday, Sept. 28, 2026. The deal is expected to close later this year, and financial terms were not disclosed, per The Bruery’s announcement.

Until it closes, the Bottle Logic announcement says, Bottle Logic Brewing and The Bruery “will continue to operate as separate, independent companies.” Brewbound covered the news the next day.

Joining, not merging. Both releases stress that each brand keeps its own name, beers and identity.

The Bruery Group, brand by brand

Here is what each release says about the three members and what changes for them. The Offshoot row is thinner because neither release gives its city or founding year.

All three brands will share production, distribution and operations infrastructure, The Bruery says, while keeping “its own voice, creative direction, and relationship with its fans.”

What Bottle Logic fans get

The headline for collectors: for the first time, Bottle Logic’s releases will be sold through The Bruery’s direct-to-consumer platform, which ships to 43 states. The Bruery says details on release access, Bottle Logic customers and its Society membership programs will come before the first releases go up.

There is also a party on the radar. The Bruery says a Weekend of Logic, “in the spirit of the brewery’s legendary Week of Logic,” will “be announced soon.” No date yet.

For stores and bars, The Bruery pitches Bottle Logic’s everyday beers like 714 Blonde, Fuzzy Logic and Logic Light as filling categories that are new to The Bruery.

What the humans said

In The Bruery’s release, Holmes, CEO of The Bruery and Offshoot Beer Co., said the combined business adds “the structure and resources” to make new ideas real. “We intend for the combined business to make each brand better than it would ever be on its own,” he said.

The same release quotes Wes Parker, listed there as a co-founder of Bottle Logic: “When we started Bottle Logic in Anaheim, the goal was simple: make beers worth waiting in line for.”

Buckner, also a co-founder, gets a different quote in each release. The Bruery’s version has him excited about “having more resources to keep pushing creatively.” On Bottle Logic’s own blog, he says: “We’ve known and respected the team at The Bruery for years. We share a lot of the same customers and a similar drive to create beers that go beyond what people expect.”

Some of the details still have to be worked out. The deal hasn’t closed, the Weekend of Logic has no date, and the release-access rules are still being written.

This isn’t the first time we’ve watched these Orange County breweries change shape. Our files include Offshoot’s 2020 news with The Bruery and Bottle Logic’s arrival on Tavour. The Bureau will report back once the deal closes.
