Dogfish Head DelaWanderer, a 7% IPA brewed with spruce and cranberry, releases today, Friday, Oct. 30, at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach. It’s a limited-edition Benevolence Beer brewed with Delaware State Parks to mark the parks’ 75th anniversary, according to Dogfish Head’s event page. A portion of the proceeds goes back to the parks.
Draft pours and limited to-go 4-packs are available while supplies last. The brewery is also parking the DelaWanderer Airstream out front for the afternoon.
Dogfish Head DelaWanderer: what’s in it
Dogfish says the spruce and cranberry pairing “pays homage to Delaware’s unique landscape, from northern evergreens to the native cranberry bogs of Cape Henlopen State Park.” The event page puts it more casually: “Ponds, creeks & beaches – oh my!” The release art calls it an India pale ale brewed with cranberries and spruce, at 7% ABV.

Dogfish Head DelaWanderer release day at Brewings & Eats
The release is at Brewings & Eats, 320 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, which Dogfish bills as “the first brewpub in the First State” and “the soul of Dogfish Head since ’95.” Dogfish says the brewpub started as the smallest commercial brewery in the United States, brewing two or three 10-gallon batches a day. The listed start time is 11:30 a.m. ET, which is also when the brewpub opens. Its posted hours are 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
From noon to 5 p.m., the DelaWanderer Airstream will be on site. Guests can browse Delaware State Parks merchandise and take photos with the trailer. DelaWanderer is on draft and in limited to-go 4-packs while supplies last. Dogfish hasn’t announced wider distribution.
A beer that gives back to Delaware State Parks
Dogfish says a portion of proceeds will benefit Delaware State Parks “and their mission to protect natural resources and connect people with the outdoors.” The brewery calls the release a way to “raise a pint to 75 years of adventure, conservation, and the parks that have helped shape generations of Delaware memories.” Dogfish hasn’t said what percentage goes to the parks.
It’s another Delaware-centric drop from the Rehoboth Beach brewpub, following the honey and elderflower saison Dogfish Head Floral Arrangement. For the rest of the First State’s lineup this fall, see DelaWeAre 2026.
FAQ
Raise one for the parks
DelaWanderer is a small-batch tribute to Delaware’s evergreens and Cape Henlopen’s cranberry bogs. It’s a 7% spruce and cranberry IPA available only at Brewings & Eats, and part of the money goes back to the parks it’s named for.
If you’re near the beach this weekend, beam down to Rehoboth Avenue before the 4-packs run out.
