DelaWeAre 2026 is the Year of the Lager. Ten Delaware breweries, from Apothecary Brewing to Volunteer Brewing, will each release a lager in cans and on draft starting the first week of November, the Delaware Brewers Guild announced.
Who is brewing a DelaWeAre 2026 lager
The guild lists ten participating breweries:
- Apothecary Brewing
- Autumn Arch Beer Project
- Bellefonte Brewing
- Big Oyster Brewery
- Crooked Hammock Brewery
- Dewey Beer Co.
- Dogfish Head
- JAKL Beer Works
- Lewes Brewing Company
- Volunteer Brewing
What kind of lagers?
Any kind. “Lager is a broad category,” the guild’s release says, so expect a range of ABVs, IBUs and even SRMs.
“We’ve given IPAs and stouts their time to shine in previous years, and now we’re turning the spotlight on lagers,” said Jon Schorah, guild president and head brewer at Dewey Beer Co.
Beer names, ABVs and release days are not confirmed
Neither the guild page nor the release lists beer names, ABVs or exact release days for each brewery. All we have is the first week of November, in cans and on draft at participating breweries. We’ll update if the guild posts the lineup. In the meantime, check each brewery’s social channels.
Dogfish Head is the best-known name on the list. We covered its return of Midas Touch. DelaWeAre 2026 shows a whole state can rally around one style.
