Burgeon Local Legends and Seeing Green are listed in the Carlsbad brewery’s online shop as San Diego Beer Week (Nov. 6–15) gets underway. One is a West Coast pilsner brewed with two other San Diego names. The other is a fresh-hop IPA with a long list of hop products on the label. Here’s what is actually on the record.

Burgeon Local Legends West Coast Pilsner
Burgeon’s Local Legends product page lists the beer as a West Coast pilsner at $17.20 per four-pack. That’s about all the page says. It doesn’t carry a description, an ABV or a list of collaborators.
Those details come from San Diego Beer News, whose Nov. 5 What’s Tapping list has Burgeon Local Legends at 5.4% ABV, brewed in collaboration with Karl Strauss Brewing and Puesto Cerveceria. We haven’t seen Burgeon or its partners confirm that on their own pages yet, so treat the ABV and the partner list as SDBN’s report until they do.
Karl Strauss has shown up on collab labels around town lately. It also lent a hand on Black Plague Brewing’s return last month.
Seeing Green Fresh Hop IPA
Seeing Green gets a fuller write-up. The Seeing Green product page calls it a 6.6% fresh hop IPA “featuring Cryo Fresh Citra, Cryo Fresh Krush, Citra Incognito, Citra, and Krush Hyperboost.” Burgeon says it is “bursting with intense citrus and saturated tropical flavors.” That’s the brewery’s description; we haven’t tasted it.
The page prices it at $23.20 per four-pack, says it’s available in limited quantities while supplies last, and notes that CRV is included and buyers must be 21 or older.

Where they fit in San Diego Beer Week

Burgeon’s last big collab on our radar was Hop Suisse with WhiteFrontier in October. Burgeon Local Legends is a different kind of team-up: a pilsner brewed with two neighbors. Our sensors will be watching for a fuller description from the brewery.
