New Belgium Daleville is getting a front door. New Belgium Brewing will open a Liquid Center at its production brewery at 555 International Pkwy. in Daleville, Va., to the public on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, the company announced in an Oct. 7 press release.
Allow me to translate. “Liquid Center” is New Belgium’s name for a public taproom; the company already uses it at its Fort Collins, Colo., and Asheville, N.C., breweries, the Fincastle Herald notes. Earthlings enjoy giving bars the vocabulary of a research facility. The Bureau approves.

What’s pouring
New Belgium says the Liquid Center will offer the Voodoo Ranger portfolio, Fat Tire and La Folie, alongside rotating small-batch brews, on draft and to go. The company hasn’t named the small-batch beers yet, so neither will this transmission.
Sterling Riethman, identified in the release as Chief Communications and External Relations, said: “This project has been several years in the making, and it’s incredibly rewarding to create another space where guests and coworkers can connect over great beer.”
How the Daleville brewery got here
The building has had several lives:
- 2017: the Daleville brewery is purpose-built with multi-category production capabilities, per New Belgium’s 2023 acquisition release.
- 2019: Constellation Brands agrees to sell Ballast Point to Kings and Convicts but keeps the Daleville brewery, as BeerAlien reported at the time. Ballast Point’s taproom there closed that year, per WSLS 10 News.
- 2023: New Belgium buys the site from Constellation to support national distribution. That year’s announcement said, “There are no current plans to operate a taproom at Daleville.”
- 2026: plans, evidently, have changed.
Once it opens, Daleville becomes New Belgium’s third hospitality space after Fort Collins and Asheville, the company says. It also operates Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, Mich., following its 2021 acquisition of Bell’s Brewery.
WSLS reported that the new taproom occupies the space once used by Ballast Point and won’t serve food of its own, which matches the food-truck plan in the release.
Money to the neighbors
Since acquiring the facility, New Belgium says it has contributed more than $175,000 to nonprofits across Western Virginia, supporting food access, wellness resources, affordable housing, land and water stewardship, local schools and similar programs.
From orbit, Daleville looks like a production plant. From Nov. 6, it is also a place to sit down.
