Voodoo Ranger Super Imperial IPA is an 11% ABV imperial IPA from New Belgium Brewing, pictured in a 19.2-ounce single can. Its federal label was approved Oct. 15, according to Hop Grail, which tracks TTB label approvals. This week’s Label Watch also covers two lighter beers from Bell’s planned for spring 2027.
Voodoo Ranger Super Imperial IPA
The can art published by MyBeerBuzz reads “11% ALC/VOL,” “Super Imperial IPA,” “Imperial India Pale Ale” and “19.2 FL. OZ.,” brewed by New Belgium in Fort Collins, Colorado.
One detail does not match. Hop Grail lists the approved Voodoo Ranger Super Imperial IPA label’s container as draft, while the art MyBeerBuzz published is a 19.2-ounce can. New Belgium may have filed more than one label. New Belgium has not announced a release date, price, distribution or hop varieties, and no tasting notes have been published.
The Bureau last tracked the line when New Belgium launched Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA.
Bell’s Oberon Light Peach Wheat and Pineapple Wheat
Bell’s Brewery in Comstock, Michigan, plans two fruit versions of Oberon Light for spring 2027, per MyBeerBuzz. The labels list each beer as a wheat ale with natural flavors at 4% ABV, 99 calories and 6 grams of carbohydrates per 12-ounce serving.
