Spring is in the air, and so is the return of Little ‘Nator, Tröegs Independent Brewing’s highly anticipated seasonal lager. This 5.5% ABV brew is a lighter take on the brewery’s beloved Troegenator Double Bock, offering a crisp, refreshing experience perfect for the changing seasons.
A Lager Built for Spring
Little ‘Nator starts with a blend of pilsner and caramel malts, delivering a warm, crusty bread character and a golden bronze hue. The hop bill—El Dorado, Hersbrucker, and Tradition hops—introduces delicate floral notes and hints of stone fruit, while the lager yeast rounds it out with subtle fruity esters and a sweet yet crisp finish.
“We like to think of this beer as the rascally cousin of Troegenator,” says Tröegs brewmaster and co-founding brother John Trogner. “It’s the perfect way for lager lovers to usher in the changing of the seasons.”
Where to Find Little ‘Nator
