The Blue Point Cask Ales Festival returns for its 22nd year on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Blue Point Brewpub, 225 West Main St. in Patchogue, New York. Blue Point Brewing Co., a subsidiary of Tilray Brands, announced the date in a press release.

After the Blue Point Cask Ales Festival wraps at 6 p.m., the party moves into the tasting room, running until 10 p.m. with The 90s Band playing on. Per the Eventbrite FAQ, the Brewpub is limited to festival attendees until 6 p.m. and opens to the public from 6 to 10 p.m.
“Cask Fest has become a true Long Island beer tradition, and we’re proud to bring it back to Patchogue for its 22nd year,” said Chris DiOrio, senior brand manager at Blue Point.
Cask vs. keg: why it pours differently
Most draft beer comes from a pressurized keg. Cask ale is conditioned in the cask it is poured from. The festival FAQ describes the firkin as a 10.8-gallon vessel used for cask-conditioning, and says the result is “a much gentler level of carbonation, a rounder mouthfeel, and since it is unfiltered, usually shows a slightly more complex flavor and aromatic profile.” Expect softer bubbles, not flat beer.
Getting to the Blue Point Cask Ales Festival
Parking at the brewery is extremely limited, and rideshare is strongly encouraged. The Patchogue LIRR station is about a mile away. Gates stay open all afternoon, but organizers suggest arriving by 1:30 p.m. to beat the lines. Bring a valid 21+ photo ID and a sweater. Outside food, drinks and chairs are not allowed, and there will be free water stations.
Blue Point has been in Tilray’s lineup since 2023, when BeerAlien reported Tilray buying eight brands from Anheuser-Busch. The Bureau’s advice for the Blue Point Cask Ales Festival: pace yourself. A hundred casks is a lot of galaxy to cover in four hours.
