Great American Beer Festival 2026 Goes Outdoors at Denver’s Levitt Pavilion

Earthlings, GABF 2026 is heading outside. The Great American Beer Festival, the Brewers Association’s festival and competition, runs Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11, at Levitt Pavilion in Denver’s Ruby Hill Park. It’s the festival’s first time outdoors, after relocating from the Colorado Convention Center. Here’s how to watch the medals, when to show up and what tickets are left.

How to watch the GABF 2026 awards

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 11, at 12:15 p.m. MT (11:15 a.m. PT)
  • In person: on the Mile High Stage during the Sunday session; open to everyone at the festival, but you’ll need a Sunday ticket
  • Online: the Brewing Network’s livestream on YouTube
  • Results: sealed until Sunday; past medal lists are on the official GABF winners page

Times are from the official awards ceremony page; the festival FAQ puts the ceremony on the Mile High Stage. Judging is done, and Bureau sensors will not guess at winners.

Weekend schedule

When (MT / PT) What
Sat., Oct. 10, noon-4 p.m. MT (11 a.m.-3 p.m. PT) Festival session; Low Cut Connie on the Mile High Stage
Sun., Oct. 11, noon-4 p.m. MT (11 a.m.-3 p.m. PT) Festival session; Próxima Parada on the Mile High Stage
Sun., Oct. 11, 12:15 p.m. MT (11:15 a.m. PT) Awards ceremony, livestreamed

Both are afternoon sessions, with live music, food trucks and stein hoisting; the Live Independent Mile High Stage page has the lineup. The June ticket announcement says most pours will come straight from the breweries themselves, so “the magic of ‘Meet the Brewer’ isn’t just a corner of the room anymore, it is the room.”

Ticket status as of Oct. 9

As of Friday morning, Oct. 9, the official tickets page listed Saturday single-day tickets and the two-day pass as sold out. Sunday single-day tickets were still listed at $66.53 all-in. Designated Driver tickets and Saturday Festival + PAIRED were also sold out. Ticket availability changes quickly, so check the official tickets page before you go.

PAIRED, the culinary experience where chefs serve small bites and brewers pour beers to match, is not part of general admission. Sunday Festival + PAIRED was listed at $170.38 all-in and includes festival entry. Tickets sell through Eventbrite, and the festival names Tixel as its official fan-to-fan resale platform.

Why outdoors this year?

The festival traded the Convention Center for Levitt Pavilion Denver, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit outdoor amphitheater that presents more than 50 free concerts and community events each summer. According to the Brewers Association, the venue brings green space, city views and a built-in amphitheater. “This isn’t just a venue change for us, it’s an evolution,” Ann Obenchain, the BA’s vice president of marketing and communications, said in the January announcement. Background: the Bureau’s January report on GABF going outdoors. Medal telemetry transmits Sunday once official results post.
