Ballast Point’s Victory at Sea Day 2026 page puts the coffee-vanilla imperial porter back early this year, with a three-day takeover split between Little Italy and Long Beach. Variants, vault favorites, merch and pirate-themed entertainment — taproom events, not a can-drop recap.
Little Italy — Saturday, Nov. 7
Victory at Sea Day opens in San Diego on Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 6 p.m. at Ballast Point Little Italy, 2215 India Street. The brewery promises Victory at Sea variants, special pours, older Ballast Point favorites returning to tap, themed food, games, exclusive merch and surprises through the afternoon. Come dressed for the occasion if that is your thing; the page leans into the pirate theme without requiring a costume.
KPBS lists the same noon–6 window, the India Street address and free general admission, and notes that guests under 21 need a legal guardian. On Ballast Point’s own page the tiers are clear: GA free, First Mate $55, VIP $99. Confirm the live cart when you buy — some third-party event listings show a higher First Mate total once processing fees are added.
Long Beach — Nov. 14–15
After Little Italy, Victory at Sea Day continues at Ballast Point Long Beach for a two-day encore with the same GA / First Mate / VIP pricing:
- Saturday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m.–midnight: pirate crews and duels, two cannon shows, a live band, two DJs and a costume contest with prizes, plus Victory at Sea and the full Ballast Point lineup. All ages until 6 p.m.; 21+ from 6 p.m. to close.
- Sunday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.: family day with face painters, balloon artists, two cannon shows, a treasure hunt and a kids’ costume contest. Adults still get Victory at Sea and vault pours. All ages welcome; 21+ upgrades available.
Ticket links on the brewery page break out separately for Little Italy, Long Beach Saturday and Long Beach Sunday, so you can lock one port without buying all three. General admission stays free either way; First Mate and VIP are the paid upgrades if you want drink tickets or the higher-tier bundle the page describes.
What to expect this year
Ballast Point frames Victory at Sea Day as an early dark takeover — variants on draft, older favorites back from the vault, merch and themed entertainment. Little Italy is Saturday, Nov. 7, two days from this preview (written Nov. 5, 2026). Long Beach the following weekend is the bigger production day on Saturday and the family-facing day on Sunday.
If you are already downtown for San Diego Beer Week, Little Italy lines up with other stops in our downtown San Diego taprooms guide. Start at noon for Victory at Sea Day, then decide whether the Long Beach weekend is worth a second trip.
