The barrel-room hatch on Firestone Walker’s mothership just opened: enrollment for the 2027 Brewmaster’s Collective went live Nov. 3, and it’s capped at 1,250 members. The Firestone Walker announcement says the year-long club delivers 25 barrel-aged beers, in four collections plus a Welcome Kit.
The collections arrive in February, May, August and October. Each one has six barrel-aged beers, and the Welcome Kit (in the February box) adds one more.
What’s in the 2027 Brewmaster’s Collective
- Returning classics: Helldorado, Bravo, Into the Starkness and Framboise
- Five Parabola takes: Parabola, Paraboloid, ParaPajamas, West Side Parabola and a new Parabolita flavor, Dubai Chocolate
- Six collaborations: Everywhere, Horus, Surly, There Does Not Exist, Alma Mader and Stone Brewing
“The Brewmaster’s Collective gives us freedom to go all out and make small-batch beers that we simply couldn’t brew for the broader market,” Brewmaster Matt Brynildson said in the announcement.
Firestone Walker hasn’t published specs or tasting notes for the individual 2027 beers yet, so we’re not guessing.

Member perks
Firestone Walker lists 15% off most purchases (dining covers you plus three guests), two flights after every drop on a designated Saturday at each location, free Paso Robles brewery tours for up to four, and a shot at 2027 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest tickets. Members also get a two-week online ordering window after each collection. San Diego Beer News has the same lineup and pricing.
Is the Brewmaster’s Collective Worth It?

Speaking as a Collective member myself: I recommend it. The beers are the headliner, but the extras are what seal the deal. Between the member gifts and the glassware, merch and goodies that show up with each collection, the swag alone pretty much pays for the membership. Everything else in the glass is a bonus.
Should you join?
If you live in one of the nine shipping areas, or near Paso Robles, Buellton or Venice, and you drink barrel-aged beer, this is Firestone’s deepest dive into its barrels.
