The Honesdale Rotary Club is thrilled to announce the return of the Honesdale Beer and Wine Fest for its second year. This fest will take place on Sunday, October 13th at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, providing festivalgoers with a day filled with locally crafted brews, wines, spirits, live music, and shopping. All proceeds are put back into the community in the form of donations and projects spearheaded by the Honesdale Rotary Club.
The Honesdale Beer and Wine Fest is one of the biggest fall events of the season following a massive response in its first year. General Admission tickets are available for $35, granting access to the festival from 1pm to 5pm. VIP tickets are sold out. For those who prefer to purchase tickets at the gate, the price will be $45. Each general admission ticket includes entry into the fest, samples from all the breweries, wineries, and distilleries, as well as a commemorative sampling glass. Additionally, every ticket holder will receive a Sampling Passport, allowing them to savor one sample from each of the craft beer, wine, and distillery vendors.
This year, the Honesdale Beer and Wine Fest will feature three incredible bands to keep the energy high throughout the day. Attendees can look forward to performances by MDK Trio, Sage Clearing, and Arnie’s Milk Truck featuring Dan Engvaldsen on vocals.
With a lineup of 21 craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries, there will be no shortage of options for sampling pleasure. From Antler Ridge Winery to Wallenpaupack Brewing Co., attendees will have the opportunity to discover their new favorite libations.
To satisfy your cravings, the festival will also offer a variety of delectable food options. From Benji’s Woodfire Pizza to Sweet E’s Mini Donuts, there will be something to please every palate.
In addition to the beer, wine, spirits, and food, the Honesdale Beer and Wine Fest will feature artisan craft vendors for those looking to indulge in some retail therapy. Plus, this year’s fest will feature a visit from the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, a 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels!
To ensure a seamless experience, the festival offers ample on-site parking. Alternatively, a free shuttle service will be available on the day of the event, with pick-up at the Fred Miller Pavilion on Main Street in Honesdale. Free parking is also available in the Park & Shop area behind the pavilion, and the shuttle will run hourly.
The fest will also feature its first official poster for the 2nd annual event created by artist Michael Dwyer, a member of the Wayne County Arts Alliance for purchase. The poster will be revealed at a free event at Runaway Train Brewery on September 28th 5pm-7pm.
