NoCoast Beer Co. is leaving its mark in the craft beer world. Just over a year after opening its doors, NoCoast is competing against some of the top breweries in the world … and winning medals.
NoCoast entered its Trend Bucker Dry Stout, Low Brow Brown Ale and Hooper’s Rye Barrel Aged Porter in the 2018 Best of Craft Beer Awards. It competed against 2,000 entries from breweries of all sizes throughout the United States, as well as Colombia, Canada and Belgium. Top brewers from around the world sent in their best product to be judged on a combined 156 beer styles.
Out of the 2,000 entries only 245 medals were awarded, and NoCoast took home 3 of them. NoCoast’s Trend Bucker Stout took home the gold in the Export Stout category. The Hooper’s Rye Barrel Aged Porter won a bronze medal in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Dark Beer category, and the Low Brow Brown Ale won a bronze medal in the English-Style Mild Ale or Brown Ale category.
The Best of Craft Beer Awards just completed its 5th year of competition and is considered the third largest professional brewing competition in the country. Winning these Best of Craft Beer Awards establishes NoCoast Beer Co as a major player in the ever-growing craft beer world.
