Festival Pairs Award Winning Short Films With Local Craft Beers In North County

The 28th annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival (SDJFF) is hosting Brews & Views, a special showcasing of eight short films held at Wavelength Brewing Company in Vista on Sunday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. The event is back by popular demand and is ideal for anyone who enjoys beer and award-winning films. Plus, the first 30 people to arrive will get a free drink voucher!

“We are excited to be able to bring the short films to North County and partner with such a great local business as Wavelength Brewing Company,” said Christina Fink, Film Festival Chair. “Although the shorts are Jewish-related, the event is for film lovers and craft brew aficionados alike because they are stories of human experience that people of all ages, ethnicities, religions and backgrounds can relate to and enjoy.”

Brews & Views is part of the SDJFF specifically tailored for North County. North County residents can buy a 3 for $36 package for any films showing in San Marcos from February 11 to 18. There is also a Monday Movie Night on February 12th at 7:30 p.m. at the Edwards San Marcos, where moviegoers will view “Between Worlds”, an intimate family drama of colliding cultures.

Brews and Views will be held at Wavelength Brewing Company, 236 Main Street in Vista on Sunday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. Event price is $15.25 and $13.25 for JCC Members. Tickets may be purchased online here. Invite your friends on Facebook here. Buy a 3 for $36 package here.
