Oceanside and Carlsbad make up North County’s coastal beer stretch: brewpubs and taprooms near the beach, breweries and tasting rooms in Carlsbad’s business parks, and a cluster of taprooms in downtown Oceanside. This guide sticks to those two cities, not inland Vista or San Marcos, and covers 12 selected taprooms whose own websites we checked on Nov. 7, 2026, for address and hours. It’s a curated list, not a complete directory.

Each listing gives the venue’s type as the venue describes itself. Hours can change around holidays and San Diego Beer Week (Nov. 6-15), so confirm before you go. For inland North County, see our Vista breweries guide.
