Coronado Brewing Swellbound is a new 6.5% ABV West Coast IPA from Coronado Brewing Company, brewed in collaboration with Madewest Brewing. The label, published by MyBeerBuzz, shows a 16-ounce can in Coronado’s “Cheers to Collab Beers” series. Neither brewery has announced a release date.
What the Coronado Brewing Swellbound label shows
The label text reads “Madewest Brewing Co. × Coronado Brewing,” names the beer Swellbound and calls it a West Coast IPA. It lists 1 pint (16 fl. oz.) at 6.5% alc./vol. and is credited to Coronado Brewing Company, Inc. of Coronado, California.
That is all the label says. It lists no hops, no IBUs and no tasting notes, and the Bureau is not guessing at any of them.

One label, one source
This post rests on a single source, the MyBeerBuzz label report. The dates on that page are also odd: it reads “Published: October 27, 2026” and “Updated: October 25, 2026,” so the update comes before the publish date. We could not find an announcement from either brewery. Until Coronado or Madewest posts details, treat Coronado Brewing Swellbound as a label, not a confirmed release.
Collabs are familiar ground for Coronado. The Bureau covered an earlier one with Societe, The Mariner.
Transmission complete.
