Public Coast Brewing Turns 10 With New Cans and Two Seasonal Beers

Ten solar cycles on the Oregon Coast, and the cans are getting a new face. Public Coast Brewing Co. of Cannon Beach, Ore., marked its 10th anniversary on Oct. 13, 2026, with a new can label design and logo plus two limited-edition beers, a Peach Sour and a Fresh Hop Hazy IPA, according to a press release on Brewbound.

Public Coast Brewing’s new look

The redesigned 16-oz can labels, new logo and broader brand refresh came from Megan McGinley and Max Erdenberger at Portland’s Central Office, working with illustrator Bethany Ng. The brewery says the visuals pay tribute to the Oregon Coast, its marine life and Haystack Rock.

“Ten years of serving the Cannon Beach community represents a significant milestone, and we wanted to introduce a refreshed yet familiar look for our cans as we enter the next decade, while staying true to our original branding,” owner Ryan Snyder said in the release.

Snyder added that his family dreamed of opening a brewery in their hometown for decades, and wanted it to feel “laid-back and welcoming—built for the people.”

Two anniversary beers from Public Coast Brewing

  • Peach Sour, 6.5%: made with Willamette Valley peaches. The brewery says it has “a touch of tartness” and “finishes like biting into a freshly picked peach rather than an artificial syrup.”
  • Fresh Hop Hazy IPA, 7.1%: brewed with Magnum and Cascade hops grown at Public Coast Farm. Per the release, Magnum brings “a clean, peppery bitterness” and Cascade “the bright, floral-citrus character the Pacific Northwest is known for.”

Growing your own hops for a fresh-hop beer is the kind of supply chain the Bureau’s agricultural division admires. Public Coast Farm is a 40-acre site on Route 26 with blueberry bushes, beehives, orchards and hops, according to the release.

Where to find them

Both beers, and the rest of Public Coast Brewing’s lineup, come in the new 16-oz cans at the Cannon Beach brewpub and select retail stores. The brewpub sits about 70 miles west of Portland.

Earthlings who reach the coast this fall can toast a decade of Public Coast Brewing with a peach in one hand and a fresh hop in the other. The Bureau recommends one at a time.
