SAN DIEGO,  – June 29, 2021 – This 4th of July, Ballast Point is raising a 6-pack to independence with the limited release of American Pilsner, a refreshing, lightly-hopped pilsner that pairs well with backyard BBQ’s, picnics, parades, and summertime celebrations. American Pilsner is a limited-edition release and will be available at all Ballast Point tasting rooms in Southern California in 6-packs of 16 oz. cans beginning July 1st. This one belongs in your Independence Day celebrations, so get it while you can as supplies are limited.

American Pilsner, (ABV 4.8%)

This easy-drinker is made with pilsner and a touch of melanoidin malt to create a clean malty character. Motueka hops, from New Zealand, balance the maltiness with a soft bitterness. Full of character, this sessionable, lightly hopped pilsner has notes of citrus and nectar fruits with a crisp finish.

The can art for American Pilsner features the stars and stripes, with a classic Ballast Point touch: a surfing skeleton crushing a wave, courtesy of resident artist, Paul Elder. The release is accompanied by limited-edition summertime merch featuring Elder’s artwork, also perfect for celebrating the red, white, and blue (brew).

American Pilsner is crisp, lightly-hopped, and full of character with notes of citrus and nectar fruits. Motueka hops balance the maltiness with a soft bitterness. This is the beer your summer has been waiting for.

Limited edition 16oz 6-packs will be available 7/1 at all of our tasting rooms and online (for shipping within the state of CA), while supplies last. Guarantee yours by preordering your red, white and brew party pack.
