As “the Craft Beer Capital of America,” San Diego County is home to a bustling local craft beer industry. Comprising  114 breweries and brewpubs, it truly is a golden age for the San Diego County ale industry! Carlsbad is home to several of San Diego’s most prized craft breweries along the Hops Highway including Arcana Brewing, Culver Beer Company, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Guadalupe Brewery, Pizza Port and Port Brewing Company, Burgeon Beer, and Rouleur Brewing.

Just last year, Carlsbad welcomed two new craft beer and culinary destinations North 40 Urban Farm— a unique fully integrated food, beverage, and floral production, processing, distribution, and sales location set in a 43 acre farm in Carlsbad—and Park 101, a new 8,00 square foot neighborhood dining and drinking hub on Carlsbad Boulevard that will house multiple food and drink concepts.

Recently, Visit Carlsbad, in partnership with the Pantone Color Institute and influencer marketing firm HireInfluence, developed the Colors of Carlsbad palette to showcase how this year’s, trending colors come to life to form a cohesive palette in Carlsbad, CA. With its acclaimed beer scene and annual brewtastic festivals, endless pours of amber ale, pilsner, IPA, and cider paint the city in russet, PANTONE 16-1340 “brandied melon”hues—one of this year’s trending colors of travel. CARLSBAD’S UPCOMING BREWTASTIC FESTIVALS

5^th Annual Carlsbad Brewfest | September 8, 2018

Enjoy some of the city’s finest craft beer at Carlsbad’s 5^th annual Brewfest! The High-Noon Rotary event features live music, entertainment, and—of course–beer tastings! Explore over 66 frothy libation varieties from over 34 breweries!
