Inbound BrewCo will close its Minneapolis North Loop brewery on Dec. 31, 2026, ending 10 years in business. KARE 11 reported the announcement Nov. 7, citing a statement from the brewery.
The closing date applies to the Minneapolis location at 701 N. 5th St. Distribution will continue for now, but the brewery says the remaining beer supply will not be replenished once it sells out, according to the report.
Inbound BrewCo looks back on a decade
In the statement relayed by KARE 11, the owners described the decision as difficult and referred to retirement, other opportunities and having more time for their dogs. They thanked employees and customers, including people who held weddings, birthdays and other celebrations at the brewery.
That community role extended beyond a bar counter. Inbound’s own description of the taproom identifies it as a converted recycling facility with German beer hall-style seating, large windows, a private mezzanine and a barrel room. Its events have included live music, craft markets and brewery 5Ks.
Beer remains in distribution while supplies last
KARE 11 reports that customers can still find Inbound beer at liquor stores, local bars and restaurants while distribution continues. For fans outside Minneapolis, that makes remaining inventory the opportunity to pick up its beer; the announcement does not promise continuing production to replace it.
The brewery is encouraging customers to visit during its final weeks. Before making a farewell trip, check Inbound’s website and social channels for current hours and private-event closures.
