Monday Night Brewing Turns 10 And Makes A Big Deal About It

Atlanta-based Monday Night Brewing is celebrating their ten-year anniversary August 7-8 with a party of epic proportions. “Tie One On“, the brewery’s anniversary celebration, is back after a year off.

A lot has changed since the last time Monday Night was able to gather people together for Tie One On. Now, the brewery has grown to 120 employees across two Atlanta breweries, one Birmingham brewpub, and a soon-to-be open Nashville taproom. They have earned even more accolades for their line of Hop Hut IPAs, their craft hard seltzer Narwater, and their barrel-aged sours and stouts.

“After forgoing a party in 2020 due to the pandemic, we are ready to show our fans what we’ve been working on,” Brewmaster Peter Kiley says. “The beer list will be truly exceptional, with almost 50 unique beers, including a large number of one-offs.”

Bar offerings will feature:

  • A Hop Hut bar, with juicy IPA favorites and a handful of anniversary-only small batch selections

  • A Pilsner Bar, with never-before-tasted summer crushers, taking inspiration from the classic European styles

  • A NarBar, featuring some new craft hard seltzer creations and slushees

  • Indoor bars with classic Monday Night beers plus a growing selection of new offerings, from sours to stouts

In addition, Tie One On will feature live music all day Saturday, culminating in a special ’90s-inspired set from C-Suite—Monday Night’s CEO’s own angsty 90s cover band. Says CEO Jeff Heck,

“They kind of beat us up on price, but we need to give the people what they want: Third Eye Blind covers from a ragtag group of amateur musicians.” Heck adds, “In all seriousness, it’s pretty special to be celebrating 10 years. Yes, a lot has changed, but our DNA is the same. We’re all about connecting people through beer”.

New features this year include late night after-party vibes on Saturday extending all the way to 1am (with purchase of ticket), plus an immersive walkthrough experience of Monday Night Brewing through the years. And as always, Tie One On will have some of the best local food vendors Atlanta has to offer, a game room highlighting those must-have brewery games, and family-friendly activities all day Sunday.
