Come join us at our original Grady Ave location for the Three Notch’d Sour House Grand Opening this November 24 – 26! We’re super proud that the Three Notch’d Sour House will be one of the few breweries in the country to focus solely on wild, funky, barrel aged, and historic styles of beer. Enjoy the unveiling of our delicious new brews, food from the Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen & Brewery, games, and sour workshops!
Starting Friday at 3pm, come tailgate with us before the big UVA/Virginia Tech game taking place nearby! Wahoos and Hokies welcome, we all speak beer here! Our production manager, Rob Mullin, will be around to meet and greet, so ask him about our up-and-coming sour program! With his 25 years of experience in the industry, Rob is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to sours! We’ll have fun games out front like cornhole, can-jam, and giant jenga—the perfect spot to indulge your tastebuds with this delectable beers!
The celebration continues on Saturday starting at noon! In addition to perfect outdoor games this Fall, we’ll also have delicious eats provided by Three Notch’d Craft Kitchen & Brewery available 1-5pm. Enjoy brats and fresh pretzel bites alongside Hydraulion mustard and 40 Mile beer cheese! Sip on sours and play fun games outside then relax by our fire pits. Bring the gang for a fun and educational tour of our production facility! Listen as our Head Brewer, Brian Martin, tells you all about the distinct brewing process of sours. Get an up-close look at the towering barrels and learn how each one can produce different characteristics in a beer and provide a unique experience!
We’re excited to offer a guest brew from Avery Brewing Company! Brian recently partnered up with them for 5 weeks and was able to learn from those working within a world-class barrel-aging program! Brian’s experience at Avery was one for the books, and we’re so glad we can feature one of their savory creations at our Grand Opening!
It doesn’t end there—Sunday with us is the perfect way to get the most out of the conclusion of your weekend. We’re open 12-8pm so come sip on sours and relax with the gang on our patio around the fire pits. We’ve got games out front as well as board and card games inside. Sour Sunday never sounded so good!
We’re stoked about this new and exclusive endeavor, so come celebrate with us!
See you there, cheers!
