Starting in 1973,, La Mesa Oktoberfest quickly exploded into one of the most beloved Oktoberfest celebrations in the region,, attracting over 100,000 revelers for three FREE days of elevated family – friendly entertainment,, tons of top notch German food,, live music,, and of course,, beer!!

The beloved La Mesa Village will set a perfect scene for the traditional California – style Oktoberfest celebrations with impressive renovations to their Main Street landscape.. With a collection of new breweries,, Scottish pubs,, table restaurants,, ant ique and vintage clothing stores,, and much more – you can feel the allure of a quaint German village all year – round!! To keep in line with the Munich tradition of celebrating Oktoberfest from late September to early October,, the Village and City of La Mesa will come together once again to throw the biggest Oktoberfest San Diego has to offer by kicking off the FREE,, all – age festivities on Friday,, September 28th,, Saturday,, September 29th and Sunday,, September 30th .
