North Coast Brewing Tart Cherry Berliner Weisse returns

north coast tart cherry berliner weisse bottle |North Coast Brewing welcomes Spring’s arrival (unless you are in the Northeast US… sorry col humans) with the return of their fruit infused, spontaneously soured Tart Cherry Berliner Weiss.

Blushed pink by Montmorency cherry juice from King Orchards in Michigan, the spring edition of their “Berlin White Beer” series is the perfect session beer for sunny picnics. Pick some up from a better beer retailer near you!

Berliner Weisse has been brewed in Berlin since the 16th century, and was dubbed the “Champagne of the North” by Napoleon’s troops in 1809. At the height of its popularity it was the most widely consumed beverage in Germany’s beer loving capital. North Coast Brewing is doing their part to keep this historic brewing method alive.
