Crooked Stave’s membership program, Cooper’s Reserve, has slots available for purchase.  http://www.crookedstave.com/membership/
Three bottle members are set-up with Mingle, Frambulles, and Wow! Cacao. Six bottle members will receive the previous, plus their spontaneous beer/cider hybrid collaboration with Angry Orchard called See DeLight; two 375ml bottles of Apricot Vibe and two 375ml bottles of Private Reserve Stout. Both groups are now able to purchase additional bottles now.
Unfortunately, due to a packaging issue with See Delight, Crooked Stave needs to reschedule pick-up to December 5th. They wanted to present See Delight to you in a fun, clear glass bottle but found out their filler was not quite to spec for the fancy-schmancy bottle. Crooked Stave will see if they can borrow a bottle filler that will work, but bottle conditioning will still need to be complete before they can release it.
Here are the bottles available for members:
crooked stave mingle |
Mingle is a unique blend of four beers: port barrel-aged Framboise, brandy barrel L’Brett d’Apricot, a golden sour that spent time in a Sauvignon blanc barrel, and the last barrel of Five Golden Rings (Holiday Ale Fest blend from 2017). The result is a vibrant orange hue that has aromas of raspberries and oak and tart notes on a palate of rose petals, dried raspberries, and hints of oak vanillins.

See Delight

This Hudson Valley meets the Rocky Mountains Collaboration was actually born from countless times spent in beautiful Vermont. Over the years Ryan Burk and I have collaborated together at the famed Hill Farmstead, brewing, imbibing and traveling the back woods of the North East Kingdom in VT. When Ryan took over at Angry Orchard’s Walden, NY location, a collaboration was inevitable.

Private Reserve Stout

Imperial stout aged for 52 months in a blend of Angel’s Envy, Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace barrels.

Other beers in the works to be released this year:

  • Earl Grey
  • Sunnychai’d Brown
  • Pomegranate & Honey
  • Drip Line Coffee Stout
  • Petite Sour Plum
  • Petite Sour Peach
  • Private Reserve Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout  – “Quarter Four” 2020
