On Deck: Ballast Point Brewing Co. Celebrates San Diego Padres® with Friar Wagon Pop-up and Special Release Pinstripe Lager.
May 7th “Friar Friday” kicks off weekend-long event at Miramar
Ballast Point is celebrating the San Diego Padres the best way they know how — with an outdoor pop-up at their Miramar tasting room featuring the Friar Wagon, plenty of Swingin’ Friar Ale, the official craft beer of the San Diego Padres, and the return of the limited release Pinstripe Lager, this time with a twist. Ballast Point’s outdoor pop-up shop will be open to the public beginning Friar Friday, May 7th from 2 – 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 – 4 p.m.
Bringing the official Friar Wagon to the people, Ballast Point’s outdoor pop-up will feature plenty of brown and gold gear, from jerseys to T-shirts, an assortment of hats, and more. Brand new Ballast Point and San Diego Padres co-branded hoodies, shirts, and koozies, new Swingin’ Friar Ale merchandise, as well as limited release Pinstripe Lager in 6-packs of 16 oz. cans will be available.
Originally brewed and released in the fall of 2020 as postseason Pinstripe Lager to celebrate the San Diego Padres’ advancement to the playoffs, Ballast Point is bringing back this limited special release with a twist on the liquid and fresh new can art designed by resident artist Paul Elder. Pinstripe Lager is an extremely limited release and will be available in 6-packs of 16 oz. cans beginning Friday, May 7th at all Ballast Point San Diego tasting room locations: Miramar, Little Italy, and Home Brew Mart, while supplies last.
