Cigar City Brewing continues to expand the reach of its world-class beers with the addition of Arizona to the Florida-based brewery’s distribution network. CCB has partnered with Crescent Crown Distributing, Canyon Distributing Company, Finley Distributing and Legacy Beverage to distribute its portfolio of unique ales and lagers, including the award-winning Jai Alai IPA, throughout the Grand Canyon State. Kegs and twelve ounce cans of Jai Alai IPA, Maduro Brown Ale and their newest year-round offering Guayabera Citra Pale Ale will be available throughout Arizona beginning in February.
Looking to build on the strong relationship between these outstanding Arizona wholesalers and their CANarchy portfolio-mates Oskar Blues Brewery, Cigar City Brewing enters the Arizona market poised for strong and sustained growth following their launch. One of the fastest growing brands in the country, CCB boasts the best selling craft six-pack can through national IRI reporting in Jai Alai IPA with other year-round and seasonal offerings complementing. National and international awards and accolades have garnered attention for the brewery since their inception in 2009.
“We’ve flirted with the Arizona market at various beer festivals and we know that craft beer fans have been enthusiastically awaiting full-time distribution of our distinct beers,” says CCB’s El Lector Neil Callaghan. “Thanks to our CANarchy partnership, we’ve been able to increase our production capacity and finally produce enough beer to make a huge splash in the Grand Canyon State. Our distributor network includes the best wholesalers in the state and they’re helping to put Cigar City Brewing beers in the hands of beer lovers in this developed, engaged craft beer market. ”
Crescent Crown Distributing’s Senior Vice President Joe Cotroneo says, “Cigar City Brewing’s beers are both highly regarded and highly sought after. We feel very fortunate to partner with CCB in bringing these storied beers to Arizona. We received a small amount of beer to serve at the Strong Beer festival in February and the line to taste it was the longest of any brewer! Cigar City Brewing is going to be a very nice addition to the already vibrant beer scene in our market.”
Market launch events will be taking place throughout Arizona in March with numerous Cigar City Brewing representatives traveling from Tampa to celebrate the arrival of these unique ales and lagers in the state. These events will feature additional Cigar City Brewing beers and will be incredible opportunities for Chicago’s craft beer fans to learn about Cigar City Brewing’s history and its award winning beer from the people who know it best.
Cigar City Brewing’s beer, including award-winning Jai Alai IPA, will be available in fifteen states encompassing Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, Utah, Texas, Illinois and California starting in mid-February. Cigar City Brewing’s ales and lagers are also exported to Denmark.
