WeldWerks Announces “Medianoche” Barrel-Aged Stout

Attention, interstellar wanderers, prepare to intercept a transmission from WeldWerks, a terrestrial sanctuary of liquid alchemy. A celestial spectacle is on the cosmic horizon, the unveiling of Medianoche, an epoch-defining chapter within their fabled barrel-aged stout saga.

Tickets will go on sale this Saturday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. via Eventbrite (You will NOT need an access code — the ticket purchasing page will be viewable the second the sale begins on the 19th). Bottle pickup begins on Friday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. and ends on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. Learn more about the bottle releases below:

Medianoche: Amburana Vanilla Luar

Medianoche: Amburana Vanilla Luar started after a year-long search, turned procurement, of Amburana barrels–WeldWerks’ holy grail for showcasing some of the rarest and most sought-after barrels imaginable. WeldWerks’ excitement for finally securing the barrels launched the brewery to take some of their base Medianoche, which had already been aging in Old Rip Bourbon Barrels for over 16 months, and rest it in Amburana barrels for an additional six months. Double barrel-aging resulted in an unforgettable tasting experience with some of the most unique flavors WeldWerks has ever encountered. Savor notes of cinnamon, applejack, pie crust, chocolate-covered raisins, and an abundance of vanilla…truly an out-of-this-world flavor complexity.

Fluffernutter Medianoche

True to all Medianoches before it, this decadent beer began at the blending table. After discovering a few barrels that had prominent vanilla notes reminiscent of marshmallows, there was no doubt about what had to be done. WeldWerks added copious amounts of peanut butter powder and marshmallow cream to create the long-awaited…Fluffernutter Medianoche. This particular Medianoche was aged for 22-24 months in a combination of Weller Wheated Bourbon barrels and Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels, providing the ideal canvas laced with rich peanut butter and sweet marshmallows.
