Schlafly Beer, the original, independent craft brewery in St. Louis, announces the return of Pumpkin Ale (8% ABV), a fan-favorite fall beer with a brand new look. Schlafly’s Pumpkin Ale is available now in 6-packs across Schlafly’s distribution as well as the Schlafly brewpubs.
Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is a well-balanced beer with notes of caramel and ginger. Fermented in pounds of fresh pumpkin, as well as brewer’s wort and a sugar mix before being filtered through a spiced infusion of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, Schlafly’s Pumpkin Ale tastes just as it was intended: like a slice of pie in a bottle.
“Our special release Pumpkin Ale has been a seasonal staple for over 10 years, and we’re proud to be one of the first in the category,” says Founding Brewer Stephen Hale. “Whether you’re pro pumpkin beer or not, experienced beer drinkers across the country have named Schlafly’s Pumpkin Ale as one of the best, and we intend to continue to earn that title, by using the same blend of seasonal spices to make a fresh, pumpkin-forward beer.”
“Our Pumpkin Beer is one of the best of its kind, and I wanted to create a design that highlighted that,” says Schlafly’s Lead Designer, Sarah Frost. “The Pumpkin Ale packaging is more illustration-forward to inspire feelings of comfort at home, where you would enjoy a fresh baked pumpkin pie. This is the kind of beer that reminds you why fall is your favorite season, and now we hope that the design also evokes all of the senses that make fall so wonderful.”
Schlafly’s Pumpkin Ale is available for $10.99 and can be found across the brewery’s distribution as well as on draft and in bottles at the Schlafly Bottleworks, Tap Room and Bankside brewpubs. For more on Schlafly Beer’s distribution and products, visit www.schlafly.com/beers/distribution.
