Michiganders are invited to bundle up and join Perrin Brewing and Kids’ Food Basket at the Perrin Ice Jam Winter Festival on January 25. The fourth annual fest will take place at the Perrin Pub and feature the Frostbite 5K Run, live music, food trucks, specialty beers and more.
Festivities start with the Frostbite 5K Run/Walk, perfect for thawing out and working up a thirst. Registration is $35 per runner, which includes entry to the after-party and concert. Click here to register, see the course map, and view packet pick-up details.
Perrin is excited to announce that this year’s concert will be headlined by The Crane Wives, a Grand Rapids indie/folk/rock/pop band. The lineup, stacked with Michigan-made bands, also features Americana duo The Crosscut Kings; Melophobix, a cage-free funk band; and The Hacky Turtles, purveyors of fine funk rock infused with dirty folk. Live music starts at the Perrin Pub at 3 p.m.
Guests can enjoy the show from inside the heated tent, make s’mores around an outdoor bonfire while sipping hot chocolate or specialty beers, watch wood carving displays and visit the on-site cigar rolling lounge. Food will be available from food trucks including Daddy Pete’s BBQ, Patty Matters and Pizza Parliament.
Concert admission is $10 or a donation to Kids’ Food Basket from their wish list:
Whether you register for the Frostbite 5K Run or buy tickets for the Ice Jam Concert, your purchase will directly support Kids’ Food Basket in their efforts to provide kids in the community with the nourishment they need. Every donation provides children with nutritious evening meals so they can be their best in school and life.
