North Coast Brewing Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin wins gold at World Beer Championships

North Coast Brewing Company’s XX edition of Barrel-Aged Old Rasputin earned 92 points and a Gold Medal at the prestigious Tastings.com World Beer Championships!

Earning the highest honor at America’s oldest annual international beer competition confirms that their 2017 release is every bit as deep, intense, and complex as both its barrel-aged predecessors and its namesake, the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin.

Tastings.com had this to say about Barrel Aged Old Rasputin XX:

“Dark brown color. Toasty aromas and flavors of peanut brittle, carob coconut health bar, and creme brulee with a satiny, bright, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity medium-full body and a warming, layered, long dark roasted nuts, cappuccino, brandied dried fruits, and sprouts finish. A remarkably smooth and balanced imperial stout with great finesse and complexity.”

If you haven’t tried the XX yet, then make like Rasputin and #yieldtotemptation before it’s gone!!
