In 2021, the California Craft Brewers Association announced the first annual California Craft Beer Week; a joint venture with regional Craft Brewery Guilds across the state to promote craft beer in California. Liquid Gravity decided to take this idea of collaboration literally, and the Welcome to California collaboration mixed pack was born.
Featuring 4 beers brewed in collaboration with 4 other breweries across the state, this mixed pack features 4 different takes on the West Coast IPA style. The 2022 release of Welcome to California features:
- Welcome to Oxnard – in collaboration with Casa Agria Specialty Ales 7.2% abv West Coast IPA
- Welcome to Carlsbad – in collaboration with Burgeon Beer Company 7.3% Juicy West Coast IPA
- Welcome to Livermore – in collaboration with Altamont Beer Works 8.0% West Coast Double IPA
- Welcome to Santa Cruz – collaboration with Humble Sea Brewing Company 5.5% West Coast Pale Ale
Liquid Gravity Brewing will be hosting a release party at 5 pm, July 15, 2022 at the brewery, located at 675 Clarion Court San Luis Obispo, CA. Justin Crossley from the Brewing Network will be the MC for the evening and a live interview and Q & A will take place with all 4 collaborating brewers on site, plus the Owner and Head Brewer Brendan Gough.
