ONE WAY OR ANOTHER RELEASE
Cascade Brewing will be releasing their latest One Way Or Another project in bottle and draft this Friday, April 5, at both Portland pubs and through distribution. Based on a collaboration recipe originally designed with their friends at Bruery Terreux, the 2017 One Way Or Another project combines whole, Northwest-grown marion berries and Meyer lemon zest with sour blond ale aged in oak barrels for up to 16 months. The finished blend captures notes of blackberry pastry, fresh citrus and spruce tips with a lively acidity and dry finish.
THE RAINBOW PROJECT
Next Friday, April 12, Cascade Brewing will be releasing their spring draft release, The Rainbow Project, a blend of sour wheat and blond ales aged in oak wine barrels for up to 18 months with orange, lime and lemon zest as well as whole Northwest-grown strawberries. Offering a colorful combination of fruit varieties, this seasonal draft-only release delivers a brilliant polychromatic spectrum of citrus and berry flavor.
Speaking of rainbows, Cascade Brewing is thrilled to be one of seven U.S. breweries selected for this year’s International Rainbow Project in the U.K.! Celebrating international craft beer collaboration, the project features a random pairing of West Coast breweries with up and coming breweries in England. Cascade Brewing was lucky enough to be paired with Burnt Mill Brewery from Ipswich, Suffolk, England and they look forward to brewing a beer with them. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming months!
