Firestone Walker Brewing Company, California

United States of America

  • Propagator |Tested: 08/15/2021
  • Object: 1 can 12 fl oz (355ml)
  • ALC.: 5.6% alc. by vol.
  • Beer type: IPA
  • Color: light – medium amber
  • Head: very thin, poor
  • Smell: orange, grapefruit, coconut, lemon
  • Taste: crisp, lightly sour, medium-bodied

Bottom Line/ Conclusion:

The Firestone Strata Hazy IPA to me tastes what typical IPA’s taste like, a lot of different fruit notes, lightly sour, the first sip is crisp and including the slightly tart fruit after taste. I wouldn’t consider it light, it’s a thick beer that gives me a slight head ache because of the bitter aftertaste.
