Angel’s Envy launches “Angel’s & Ale” program with Against the Grain Brewery

Angel’s Envy Distillery will launch their barrel-aged beer program, “Angel’s & Ale,” with Louisville-based partner Against the Grain. The beer resulting from the partnership is a Belgian Quadruple Ale that was aged for 3-4 months in port barrels formerly used to finish Angel’s Envy core product, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine barrels.

To celebrate the partnership, an exclusive ticketed event will take place on February 28 from 5:30pm-8pm. A limited number of tickets will be available at $45 each. The event will include:

  • A private Angel’s Envy distillery tour and bourbon tasting
  • Beer tasting at Against the Grain with Angel’s Envy Production Manager Kyle Henderson and Against the Grain Co-owner and Brewmaster Jerry Gnagy
  • One full Against the Grain Belgian Quadruple Ale
  • Light bites
  • Guests will also receive a special take home gift not available to the public

This special release will only be available during the kickoff event on February 28 and onsite at Against the Grain during the month of March. Additionally, Angel’s Envy distillery tour ticket holders will be able to sample the new release at Against the Grain throughout March. Product is subject to availability.

Ticket purchasing and program information can be found here. Angel’s Envy will be announcing additional “Angel’s & Ale” collaborations throughout 2020.
