#1: The Hofbrauhaus Biergarten
Entrance at La Mesa Blvd. between 3rd & Palm Ave.
The Hofbrauhaus Biergarten, sponsored by Pete’s Place, is the focal point of this beloved La Mesa tradition. Consider this the starting point and the hub of your La Mesa Oktoberfest journey. Here you’ll be immediately immersed in La Mesa’s Munich with Oompa bands, German food, and free contests for everything from yodeling to brat-eating. This is the most traditional of our three Biergarten experiences and is also a great place for those with kinder in-tow as we have plenty of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. The Hofbrauhaus Biergarten is also the hub for Hofbrauhaus VIP Passholders to claim their commemorative steins, chicken hats, flower garlands, and most importantly – their wristbands and Bier Tickets!

#2 The Palm Avenue Bier Hall

Once you’ve completely rocked at least two chicken dances and competed in one yodeling competition, wander down the vendor-lined streets to the next stop on our stein-clinking extravaganza: The Palm Avenue Bier Hall, sponsored by Amethyst Moon. Our most loved addition from 2019’s fest makes a triumphant return and offers a place of respite where you can take a seat at our shaded long tables and be served by our incredible festively adorned Biermaidens! This tavern experience is also home to our weekend football lineup for any fans that can’t miss the big game. This is a perfect mid-point stop on your La Mesa Oktoberfest beer journey where you can enjoy flowing pints and food delivered directly to your table along with a host of games and music throughout the weekend.

- Seating is first come, first served!
- This bar only accepts card payments. Keep your cash on hand for the other bars (or some of our 150+ vendors!)

Entrance at La Mesa Blvd. & 3rd Ave.
After a long day of working out your lederhosen, lounge around and chicken-watch at the third stop on our unofficial Bier Crawl: The Craft Bier & Seltzer Garten, sponsored by Curbside Eatery & Drinkery. This is where we like to come to enjoy craft beer and cocktails, take a break from the Will Power Community Fitness Oktoberfest Games and the Dackeldorf Village games, and relax with laid back Cali-chill atmosphere, oversized boardgames, and DJ sets throughout the weekend. The vibe is different here, but in a great way you just need to experience to understand.
