ANXO Cidery Expands Offerings Made Like Natural Wine With Release of Time & Place

ANXO Cidery, the apples-only cider brand out of Washington, DC has launched two new editions of their Time & Place cider, a spin on a natural wine, but for apple lovers.

Similar to single vineyard and vintage wines, ANXO’s Time & Place ciders showcase one orchard that the team has harvested apples from at a specific point in time. These apples are then juiced and fermented with natural yeasts from apple skins – the same way natural wines are made from grapes – to keep the cider in its most organic form. Like all of ANXO’s ciders, both Time & Place editions are naturally low carb, sugar free, and gluten free. More details on the ciders are outlined below:

  • Sunrise Orchards, VT
    • Time & Place – Sunrise Orchards is made from 100% Esopus Spitzenburg apples grown and harvested in 2019. Naturally fermented in wooden casks in Washington, DC, this cider boasts the metamorphic terroir of the rolling green mountains of central Vermont.
  • Adams County, PA
    • Time & Place – Adams County is the result of a mix of English Bittersweet, American Bittersharp and American Heirloom apples harvested in 2019 from one of the most important apple producing areas in the Northeast. A two-year-long project, this can is a must-have for cider lovers and natural wine lovers alike.

Both Time & Place cans are now available for delivery to over 40 states through ANXO’s website, and coast-to-coast in markets where ANXO is sold.
