The search for Surly’s 2023 Featured Darkness Artist is officially underway!

Every year, we select one artist to create label art for our Darkness line of imperial stouts every year–the original, the barrel-aged, and all variants. This designer will be creating, narrating, and defining Darkness for an entire year. The art will be featured on boxes, cans, posters, shirts, and more.

To be clear, this isn’t a pat-on-the-back-and-free-beer job. This is a $3,000 gig. If you want to apply or know someone who should, the deadline is February 7th!
