1loaf french or brioche breadcut into 1-inch slices
3eggs
1cupDouble Nut Brown Porter Mammoth Brewing Co.
1/4cupsugar or honey
1teaspooncinnamon
1/4teaspoonsaltoptional
1teaspoonvanilla extract
3tablespoonsbutter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, beer, sugar, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract. Dunk slices of bread individually into beer mixture turning until well coated.
Heat butter over medium high heat. In batches cook the bread until golden brown, 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer to a baking sheet in the oven. Keep warm until ready to serve, 5-10 min. Top with powdered sugar and maple syrup. Cheers!
