WeldWerks\u2019 excitement for finally securing the barrels launched the brewery to take some of their base Medianoche, which had already been aging in Old Rip Bourbon Barrels for over 16 months, and rest it in Amburana barrels for an additional six months. Double barrel-aging resulted in an unforgettable tasting experience with some of the most unique flavors WeldWerks has ever encountered. After discovering a few barrels that had prominent vanilla notes reminiscent of marshmallows, there was no doubt about what had to be done. WeldWerks added copious amounts of peanut butter powder and marshmallow cream to create the long-awaited\u2026Fluffernutter Medianoche. This particular Medianoche was aged for 22-24 months in a combination of Weller Wheated Bourbon barrels and Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels, providing the ideal canvas laced with rich peanut butter and sweet marshmallows.
