Virginia’s largest craft beer festival has a new home at IX Art Park in downtown Charlottesville and beer enthusiasts can expect superb brews, delicious food, excellent live music, and plenty of fun and games for the entire family, during the 6th annual Virginia Craft Brewers Fest on Saturday, August 19th, 2017.

We’re going to maintain the aspects Fest goers have grown to love over the past five years,
said Betty Arnold, VCBG Member Services Director. “And now that it’s artfully located in downtown Charlottesville, we can really expand the tradition and make it even better.”

Three Notch’d Brewing Company and IX Art Park won a highly competitive proposal process to host the event. The new site and partnership will allow the Virginia Craft Brewers Fest to grow and offer more amenities.

The IX Art Park has hosted scores of public events, including craft beer festivals, concert tours, community movie festivals, and art events. Located on 17 acres, IX Art Park is just four blocks from the downtown mall and within walking distance of a variety of hotels. Three local bus transit routes serve the site and there are numerous parking options nearby, making the site easily accessible.

The Virginia Craft Brewers Fest celebrates unique flavors and our exceptional craft beer community,” said Dave Warwick, Three Notch’d Brewing Company’s Founding Brewmaster. “It’s about good times, good friends and great Virginia craft beer, and we look forward to many years of growth in Charlottesville.

The Fest, which runs 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., is expected to feature beer tastings from over 90 of the Commonwealth’s independent craft brewers. Ticket sales begin June 1, 2017 at www.vacraftbrewersfest.com.

The enthusiasm around the Virginia Craft Brewers Fest is tremendous and we expect tickets to sell out quickly,” said George Kastendike, Three Notch’d Brewing Company’s CEO & Founder. “Mark your calendars, because this continues to be Virginia’s most exciting craft beer festival.”
