Appearance: The Marker Pale Ale pours a brilliant rich clean golden color with a small frothy head. This brew leaves a small amount of lacing on the glass as it is enjoyed.
Aroma: Very strong hoppy aroma for a pale ale. Elements of citrus, orange, and pineapple with undertones of malt.
Taste: Tons of great hoppy flavor to complement the aroma. Tropical fruit flavors combined with dry hops. Not much malt flavor until the end. Ends with a smooth clean finish with a hint of sweetness. Tones of nutty flavor from the malt but overall a very hoppy beer for a pale ale. Lots of flavor!
Mouthfeel: Moderately carbonated with a crisp clean finish and hints of malt. No strong aftertaste but packs a bigger punch than your average pale ale.
Overall: Very flavorful pale ale. This brew has a little something for everyone. Hop lovers will enjoy the dry hopped flavor while pale ale enthusiasts will like the malty finish and sweet aftertaste. Might be a little strong for some but definitely worth a try. Try it with the prime rib or the Sicilian style pizza! Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced!
