Stone Brewing Co. looks to branch off from their hop-forward beers that they are known for, to go with the spicy Belgian saison style ale. I, for one, encourage Stone to break out of their mold, and explore new styles. I guess with the new release of Stone’s first session IPA, all bets are off. I would love for Stone to put out a Belgian quadrupel or a German Rauchbier… but baby steps. The thing that I find unique about this release is much of the flavors come from ingredients grown at their very own Stone Farms.
