Not Your Father’s Root Beer by Small Town Brewery is part of every adults’ childhood dream, a fun concept on root beer and alcohol.

Appearance: When poured it is caramel in color, clear and pours with no head.

Aroma: A distinctly sweet smelling beer, almost exactly like root beer with a strong aroma of vanilla.

Taste: Could easily be mistaken for only root beer at first, but has a sweetness and lightness of spices that fades into a slightly hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Medium to high carbonation, similar to a soda, very smooth.

Overall: This beer is perfect for beginner craft beer drinkers, lovers of ciders, or someone who just wants something on the sweeter side. With the ability to crush your sweet cravings, this beer would be perfect for an alcoholic root beer float. A scoop or two of vanilla ice cream, a bottle of Not Your Father’s Root Beer and done! We want to add this to our dessert menu every night!
