Ska Brewing’s Rudie Session IPA is also one of the beers featured in the brewing company’s “Hoptions” variety pack. True to it’s name, this session IPA is light and easy to drink, making a great beer to have as the warmer weather comes around

Appearance– This session IPA from Ska pours a clear, light hazel/pale honey gold color with faint straw coloured highlights. It has a foamy light tan head that reduces slowly to a ring at the edges of the glass, along with moderate amounts of lacing

Aroma– The aroma is herbal hop forward and filled with citrus and grapefruit zest, along with hints of grainy malts

Taste– Unlike the aroma, the taste is malt-forward, with sweet, grainy malt flavours upfront. It is then followed by hints of citrus, grapefruit zest, and herbal hops

Mouthfeel– The session IPA is light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation, with a clean and slightly bitter finish
