White Ale @ Half Dome

If you humans are anything like us aliens, when we go away for a weekend we prepare ourselves by bringing delicious craft beer with us! We decided that Saint Archer’s White Ale was going to get to go hiking with us in Yosemite National Park! Saint Archer Brewing Co. is a well-known San Diego based brewing company, so this lucky pint made a long trip just to be sipped at the bottom of Yosemite Falls!

Saint Archer White Ale

5.0% ABV

IBU: 12

Appearance: Hazy, but a light gold in color with minimal head that dissipates over time.

Aroma: Has a sweet, fruity scent along with a light malty aroma. Also, has a lingering spiciness that is covered mostly by its fruitiness.

Taste: Starts with an obvious but not overwhelming fruitiness of coriander and orange peel that gives it a sweet yet slightly spicy after taste.

Mouthfeel: The malts give it a slight creaminess but the sweet and spicy flavors give it a refreshing flow that tickles your senses.

Overall: A bright and refreshing beer that is great for any occasion! It was perfect to pop open at the top of the mountain looking out at the beautiful views after being chilled in some snow! The light yet creamy tartness that this beer offers is unique and makes it a fun one to drink.
