To commemorate the 2015 Craft Brewers Conference being held in Portland for the first time in 15 years, Portland Brewing is hosting a week of fun events at its taproom. From April 13th through April 17th consumers get the chance to take part in the festivities. The Craft Brewers Conference, presented by the Brewers Association, is America’s largest brewing industry event. This year’s conference is expected to attract more than 12,000 industry professionals to the Portland area.
Beer fans can kick off the week by enjoying Portland Brewing beers at special prices all day Monday, April 13th. It’s also an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with free brewery tours from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For CBC badge holders only, Portland Brewing welcomes you to join them for a Singularly Portlandexperience at Coopers Hall on Wednesday, April 14th. The party gets going at 9 p.m. with Portland’s iconic Unipiper, live music and Rose City culinary all-stars including Pok Pok, Bunk Sandwiches, Pine State Biscuits, Lardo, Voodoo Doughnuts and, of course, Portland Brewing beers on tap. Don’t forget to RSVP to here, space is limited.
Portland Brewing releases its summer seasonal, single malt and single hop S.M.A.S.H. Pale Ale with a taproom party Wednesday, April 15th. All are welcome to celebrate with food and beer specials, live music and free raffles from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday, April 16th is give back day with $1 from each pint of ‘Round The Block, a Belgian-style golden ale, sold between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. going to the Portland Audubon Society. Fans can also meet the brewer and join in a blind tasting of different styles of ales.
Portland Brewing welcomes Pyramid Breweries new IPA on Friday, April 17th by offering three IPA samplers with appetizer pairings and a souvenir glass for $12. Hop fanatics can also rejoice with special prices on IPA growler fills.
Don’t miss a one-of-a-kind historical look at the growing industry of beer in Oregon. A unique display of images collected by OSU’s Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives is being featured in the taproom all week!
